OPENING THE DARK GATE:
A YEAR LONG SERIES OF ONLINE SEMINARS
‘Opening the Dark Gate’ is a four-part series of intermingling contemplative and practice-based seminars. This series will provide participants with an informed means of directly accessing, working with, and appreciating the view and practices of the Daoist tradition. The series begins with an introductory seminar elucidating concepts and language commonly encountered in Daoist teachings and texts. After grasping a penetrating understanding of these concepts and characters, the following seminars then move toward ways of directly accessing and experiencing the Daoist view through personal practice.
*It is highly recommended that those interested in any of these seminars take part in the first one as it will establish a basic ground and common vernacular used throughout the rest of the series.
*Participants will be mailed different forms of ‘material culture’ for the practice-based classes. The cost of each seminar includes all necessary materials and shipping. Please be sure to register for seminars as early as possible to allow for shipping time. Non-US participants will be required to pay extra for shipping. Please contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange.
*Participants who register for all seminars up-front will receive a gift of one of my finest incense powders in a decorative ceramic caddie. If you wish to register for all seminars, do not register through the site, please contact me directly at email@example.com.
*Each class will be recorded and made available to watch online for 2 weeks after their respective conclusion.
