Service Description
Many modern initiates of Daoism find themselves struggling with context as they begin on their path of practice. This lecture will focus on contextualizing the modern Daoist experience with an emphasis on accessible, traditional, daily Daoist practice rituals that one can maintain to live a more balanced and connected life. Lindsey will be discussing rituals pertaining to Daoist hygiene, incense ceremony, working with an altar, opening and closing food mantras, training schedules, orientation with the four directions, and more. This class will also include the teaching of a specific mantra-based practice for meals that participants can directly incorporate into their own lives. *Includes post-lecture link to video/audio of the class for international participants unable to attend because of time difference.
