FIVE ANIMALS QIGONG
One month-long comprehensive course on the Five Animals Qigong.
- Starts Jun 1Starts Jun 1
- Online Zoom Sessions
Five Animals Qigong is a standing practice comprised of 5 sections imitating the spirit of the dragon, tiger, leopard, snake, and crane for bolstering and harmonizing the 5-elemental phase-shift relationships within the body. This month-long course will introduce students to one of the main foundational embodiment practices of the Wudang Sanfeng Lineage and truly one of the lineage’s prime cornerstones. Students will not only be thoroughly taught the method of practice, but also discover the ground of the Five Elements Daoist view teaching and how this correlative cosmological model is immediately discoverable within one’s own experience. Which, as Zihe often states in his teaching allows “the practice to reveal itself to you” as opposed to simply being an intellectual exercise outside one’s grasp. With its emphasis on stillness, flexibility, breath, and posture, Five Animals Qigong is also an indispensable practice for practitioners who are looking to bolster their own practices of taijiquan and meditation as well. With its economy of space necessary for practice, Five Animals Qigong is also perfect for indoor practice. Weekly classes will be held Sundays June 6 to July 4 at 12:00 PM PST. SPACE IS LIMITED TO 12 PARTICIPANTS - if spaces are filled, please contact me directly at email@example.com to discuss potential for another separate course.
Cancellations and refunds will not be accepted within one week of the start of a class.
